- Surveyor Nancy Owusu Kwartemaa: A Passionate Leader Ready to Serve the Asunafo South Constituency
Surveyor Nancy Owusu Kwartemaa is a woman of excellence, with a passion for serving her community. Born in Sankore, Nancy’s parents, Stephen Owusu Afriyie and Sister Mercy Owusu, were both teachers in the town. Growing up, Nancy was raised with a strong foundation in education and a deep appreciation for community service.
Nancy began her educational journey at Hope International School and Sankore SDA School, both located in Sankore. After completing her basic education, she moved to Dansoman, Accra, to attend Christian Home School for her BECE. She then continued her secondary education at Holy Child Senior High School in Cape Coast, where she graduated with excellent grades.
Continuing her academic pursuits, Nancy attended the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where she obtained a BSc in Real Estate. Afterward, she traveled to the United Kingdom to pursue her Master’s degree in Construction Management and Economics at the University of Greenwich.
In addition to her academic qualifications, Nancy is a professional surveyor and a member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors. She has worked with several organizations, including the Land Title Registration Division of the Lands Commission in Ghana and Potter Raper Ltd in Beckenham, London, UK, where she served as an Employers Agent. Currently, Nancy works as a Project Administrator for the Ghana Education Trust Fund.
Nancy is also a leader with extensive experience in student governance. During her time at KNUST, she served as the Independence Hall Secretary and Head of the Sponsorship Committee for the 2013/2014 academic year. Additionally, she served as the Women’s Commissioner for the University Students Association of Ghana (USAG).
As a proud daughter of Sankore, Nancy Owusu Kwartemaa has a deep connection with her roots and a strong desire to give back to her community. Her passion for community service, combined with her experience and expertise, make her the ideal candidate to represent the people of Asunafo South Constituency in parliament. If given the opportunity to serve, Nancy will work tirelessly to improve the lives of the people in her constituency, advocating for their needs and ensuring their voices are heard
